Since 1933, the Racine Children’s Theatre (RCT) has been introducing young people to the magic of live theatre.
Prior to play weekend, kids get a newsletter, the “Packy Paper,” from Packy, the RCT’s popular elephant mascot, containing background information and activities.
At the performances, Packy welcomes the audience and introduces the show. The plays are filled with action, humor, audience participation, imaginative story-lines, and catchy tunes to keep kids interested and involved. When a play ends, the actors greet fans, sign autographs, and pose for photos in the lobby.
The RCT season has four “Packy Plays” with eight performances each: Fridays at 5:30 and 7:30 pm; Saturdays and Sundays at noon, 2 and 4 pm
Seating is general admission – not reserved – so you can always sit with family and friends.
Plays are generally one hour in length.
