OVERVIEW

Janet Marie O’Mahony is an American vocalist known for her interpretations of R & B, Blues, Jazz and Folk classics. It’s an artist’s sound that will set them apart, and Janet demonstrates power, passion and grace all wrapped up into one voice.
She has been asked to sing The National Anthem for the Milwaukee Bucks, was featured at “Jazz In the Park”, “Zoo A La Cart”, and appears for many concert fund raisers; most recently “Paws & Claws” Gala 2014 (Wisconsin Humane Society)  and INHABIT – live into community (Transformation City Church affiliated non-profit organization).

Mark Thierfelder is a pianist, trumpet player, vocalist and composer based in Milwaukee.  A performing artist for 30 years both in the United States and abroad, he has also been an active
musical director, educator and clinician since 1985.

The Tony Castañeda Latin Jazz Sextet was founded in Madison, WI in 1998 and has been entertaining audiences throughout the Midwest with their renditions of classic and original Latin Jazz ever since.

Voted Madison’s Favorite Jazz Band fourteen straight years by the “Isthmus Reader’s Poll” (2000-2014), and recipient of three “Madison Area Music Awards” (2005-2007) as Madison’s best Latin Artist and best Latin Album (“Viva el Cardinal” and “Mambo O Muerte”) the Tony Castañeda Latin Jazz Sextet continues to impress and entertain audiences wherever they play.
