The Racine Theatre Guild will be holding open auditions for the final concert in our 2018 – 2019 Signature Spotlight series, SUPERSTAR: A Tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber, on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
ABOUT THE SHOW
His music is legend. Andrew Lloyd Webber has produced some of the most memorable tunes in all of musical theatre. From Phantom of the Opera, to Joseph…, Cats, Evita, Starlight Express, and more – it is all here in a concert finale that you will not soon forget. Don’t miss this vocal extravaganza that will pay tribute to the SUPERSTAR of Broadway.
- PERFORMANCE DATE: Saturday, February 9 @ 2 and 7 p.m.
During each Signature Spotlight Concert, a Spotlight Star, a talented student from a local high school, will be a featured soloist. Open to any freshman through senior attending high school in our area.
- AUDITIONS: Thursday, January 3; 5 – 6 p.m.
Soloists: 4 Men; 7 Women
Ensemble: 5 Men; 10 Women
Auditions are open to anyone 18 and older. Limited rehearsals will require strong singers to learn their music on their own with only a few coaching sessions. Those who are auditioning can audition for a soloist, a small ensemble member, or both.

Director Rob Kroes will hold auditions at the Racine Theatre Guild.
Those interested in auditioning must sign-up for a half-hour time slot by calling (262) 633-4218 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please prepare to sing 60 – 90 seconds of an Andrew Lloyd Webber song and bring sheet music with you. An accompanist will be provided and tape recordings or unaccompanied singing are not permitted.
